Here we are with this week's submission in the Diva's Weekly Challenge #173.
I spent a couple of days just trying to think up what I was going to post in a tile. I really like so many of the patterns that we have done, but I think I finally narrowed it down to a couple of my favorite "go-to" tangles. I used Paradox in several different forms to create a silhouette of Bat Man and he is sitting on some Tropicana patterns, I really like Tropicana a lot...(thanks, Kate) and I threw in some Foot Lights behind Bat Man. Hope you all like it. Let me know how to do it better, please. Thanks.

Joelma, shadowing on the tangles is something of a personal nature. It is what you feel in your drawing that you want to put something in the shadows so that something else shines more brilliantly. In my drawing, I cast shadows through the doorways of Tropicana to give the viewer depth and it appears more real and not so flat a drawing. I shadowed near the bottom of the footlights to make the rest of the lights show brighter. Shading does a lot of things and each artist is different in how they feel about it for their work.

nice done. your tile gave me the impression of a theater stage, just befoe the curtain is rising an the show begins......
