Welcome to Duane's Drawings Blog page.......Where Zentangles live...
(only 124 days left until Providence, RI for CZT #28. Yaaaaaaaay).
Well, here we are on the day before Valentine's Day submitting our challenges for the Diva's Weekly Challenge. Laura, I love the "horse glasses" that Artoo is sporting. Also Laura, really?? a soda cracker for appetizer?? I cringe at the thought and also my heart goes out to you in reflecting on your pain.....I am a certified, bonafide, Sea Food lover from way way back. Sorry, shell fish, regular fish, any kind of fish (as long as it doesn't eat me first),....SUSHI FOREVER !!! (I was in the Navy for many years and that's where I found my love of ANY kind of seafood.)
Anyway, yes, I digress along the way....we are here for the Challenge and here is mine for everyone's pleasure (I hope):
Duane.... I adore the drawings delivering your heart. I like the touches of red you used to accent the hearts and tangles. Also... I agree with you about sushi! YUMMY!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by my submission today, and for leaving such a lovely comment! Happy Valentine's Day to you and your sweetheart!
Thanks for the wonderful comments about my submission. I hope you have a great day too. Happy tangling.
DeleteDuane... I'm so glad that you ordered Danette's rotating easel! You will LOVE it! Be sure to take it with you to CZT Seminar. It will make your days of drawing much more comfortable! Please let me know how you like it, once you've had a chance to use it! I haven't had the pleasure of meeting Danette in person... yet! I'm looking forward to meeting her when I attend Tangle U in Florida this spring. I've just been her unofficial spokesperson since discovering her amazing tool myself a few years ago. 😊
DeleteNice words under your tile, I like that. Very clever to choose Ginili instead of roses.
ReplyDeleteWith a wonderful intention, you have made this card and that is the most important of all: Drawings to fly to your beloved one, giving your heart and flowers, what could she expect more? Maybe some chocolate? (LOL)
Thanks Ria....Nope, no chocolate...but I cooked her dinner, Steak and Shrimp and Baked Potato. She did like it.
DeleteNicely put together, and so thoughtful!
ReplyDeleteHope your sweetie loved your beautiful Valentangle! Love that you are counting down your days to CZT training. You are going to love it! Happy Valentine's day to you both.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely tile and a lovely sentiment for your sweetie, Duane! I'll bet she loved it!
ReplyDeleteGreat to draw this for your sweetie! And fish ...... not for me!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty tile! I like the red accents!
