So, now it's Tuesday and the visiting Diva put up the challenge today for us to enjoy. We were to tangle, in some fashion, the tangle called Aloha. So here is mine for you to enjoy....I hope.
My version of Aloha in TranZending form over Swarm |
This is the tangle Ginili surrounded by Poke Leaf and Poke Root. |
Lovely tiles. Could I just ask though, what is a street fair?
ReplyDeleteIt's where the city blocks off main street and only allows walking in that area. I and many others are given a 10 x 10' area on the sidewalk to put up our tables and canopy to keep the sun off and we show off our wares, items to sell or in my case I will be working to get people to sign up for a Zentangle class and I will be selling my tiles that I am making. I am also using my tiles to show people what we have learned to draw and explain the Zentangle Method. There will be all kinds of vendors to show off their products and some will be selling food. Later in the evening, there will be bands and dancing, and all sorts of fun.
ReplyDeleteI wish you succes with the street fair, in Belgium we have that too, it is very nice to meet and talk to other people!
ReplyDeleteI like your version of Aloha in Tranzending form, looks difficult to me, I didn't try that technique yet.
Thanks for participating in my guest Diva Challenge. I do like the result you achieved "tranzending" Aloha. It looks suspended, like it's floating, a cool effect.
ReplyDeleteGreat tiles. Hope you sell a lot st your street fair. Enjoy
ReplyDeleteoh I do love that Diva tile a lot! The transparency effect is Fab! Wishing you a great success with your street fair;-)
ReplyDeleteWhen the Diva has no post on Monday, it kind of throws my whole week off, LOL!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun to go to a street fair and share your talent, Duane. Nice Aloha too!
Beautiful tiles, you did a lot of work!
ReplyDeletecool Aloha!
ReplyDeleteNice body of work. Hope the event goes well. Like the technique with Aloha.
ReplyDeleteI like your bold Aloha!!!
ReplyDeletegosh, you've been busy! Your Ginli play is pretty cool, but I like your Aloha tile best of all. That background reminds me of a page of the newspaper,, and there's a leaflet, as if it had been pressed. Good work!
